Freedom of Expression

Freedom of Expression means expressing yourself nonviolently. Laws regulating nonviolent expression tend to be counterproductive, especially in a civil society. Legal control of nonviolent expression undermines a civil society. Governments that pass laws to control nonviolent expression for valid or dubious reasons undermine a civil society. Artists are free to express themselves nonviolently in what ever art medium they prefer without government interference or punishment. Nonviolent expression by artists and non-artists strengthens a civil society. Governments need to pass and uphold laws that promote a civil society for all, even for those who would oppose it for valid or dubious reasons. Support freedom of expression for artists’ not legal control.
